These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the GetManna mobile application (“App”). By using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. Access and accounts

You may explore core reading features without an account. An account is required for cloud sync and social features. If you create one, you are responsible for activity under it and for keeping access to your authentication method secure. You may delete your account from the App’s Profile settings.

2. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for an unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose
• Harass, threaten, impersonate, or send abusive, hateful, sexual, violent, spam, or unwanted content to another user
• Attempt to access another user’s account or non-public data
• Disrupt the App, evade safety controls, or introduce malicious code
• Use automated means to scrape or overload the service
• Reverse-engineer the App except where applicable law expressly permits it

3. Social safety and moderation

GetManna provides tools to report messages and block accounts. We may review reported content and related account activity, remove content, limit features, suspend accounts, or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect users or enforce these Terms. We are not obligated to monitor every interaction and cannot guarantee that objectionable content will never appear.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of notes, highlights, messages, and other content you create. You give us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, process, transmit, and display that content only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the service or comply with law. Content is shared with another user only when you direct the App to share it, except that reported content may be reviewed for safety and enforcement.

5. AI-generated content

Expound, semantic Bible search, and daily recaps may use artificial intelligence to provide biblical commentary and study assistance. AI results may be incomplete, inaccurate, or inconsistent. They are provided for educational and devotional use and are not a substitute for pastoral counsel, theological training, mental-health care, legal advice, medical advice, or other professional guidance. You are responsible for evaluating a result before relying on or sharing it.

Cloud AI features require your affirmative permission before GetManna sends the content described in our Privacy Policy for processing. You may decline or withdraw that permission. On supported devices, Apple On-Device is available as a private alternative for Expound; cloud-only features such as daily recaps remain unavailable without Cloud AI permission.

6. Bible text and commentary

Bible translations and commentary may be provided under licenses or from public-domain sources. Rights remain with their respective owners. We make reasonable efforts to present material accurately but do not guarantee that it is error-free.

7. Availability and changes

We may update, add, limit, or discontinue features and may perform maintenance that temporarily affects availability. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free access. If we materially change these Terms, we will update the effective date and provide notice where required.

8. Intellectual property

Except for your content and third-party material, the App’s software, design, branding, graphics, and original content are owned by GetManna and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

9. Disclaimer

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the App is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App, AI-generated content, weather information, or third-party services will always be accurate, secure, available, or suitable for a particular purpose.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GetManna will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability for claims relating to the App will not exceed the greater of fifty US dollars (US$50) or the amount you paid GetManna during the twelve months before the claim.

11. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially violate these Terms, create risk or harm, or if the service is discontinued. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be subject to the courts of Singapore unless applicable consumer law requires otherwise.
